Be proactive in improving our environmental performance through a combination of investment and innovation. Lead our customers to improved environmental performance through the creation of innovative products with reduced environmental impact.
A structured approach will be taken to identify environmental aspects & impacts, objectives, targets and apply suitable monitors in order to measure performance, which will be reported and reviewed regularly. This approach will be utilised for the following processes and any further additional areas identified - Waste management, Energy consumption and Pollution control.
In order to achieve the above Berkshire Labels will ensure all its employees are fully aware of how their activities impact on the environment and encourage ideas for improvement. Maintain a formal Environmental Management System, which will be the subject of internal and external audits to ensure compliance and continual improvement. |
